If you itemize deductions, prepare for a new 0.5% Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) floor. This means only donations exceeding that threshold remain deductible. Alternatively, if you take the standard deduction, the OBBBA introduces a cash contribution write-off up to $1,000 for single filers and $2,000 for joint filers.
